Velké Karlovice is situated
in the Javorníky and Beskydy
mountains foothills. It belongs
to the largest villages in
the Cezch Repulic by its area
of 82 square kms which was
settled in 1714 by Karel Jindřich
ze erotína. In 1762 Velké
Karlovice received the sealing-stick
signet. There are several
historic and cultural monuments
from those ages, e. g. the
church in Velké Karlovice
built in 1754 with the marks
of late baroque.
